Final Fantasy VIII will reportedly be upgraded, featuring improvements in new graphics and more options to support the gameplay experience. This remastered version is present on PS4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and Steam on 3 September.
Reported by Engadget, gamers can start pre-orders at a cost of USD20 from each platform. The game's official website only shows the availability of pre-orders for the US, UK, France, Italy, Germany and Spain.
The remastered version has the ability to turn off encounters and play scenes at three times the speed. More importantly, the game will be compatible with full HD display.
Square Enix has announced the game launch date via a new trailer for Gamescom this year.
