Lately, Vivo is rumored to be working on the next generation smartphone which is the successor of the NEX series, namely the Vivo NEX 3. In addition to adopting a slick design, this smartphone will carry various high-end specifications that are usually found on premium smartphones.
As reported by GSMArena, Vivo product manager, Li Xiang, recently shared a Vivo NEX 3 teaser on Weibo. Previously Li Xiang confirmed that the Vivo NEX 3 will have a "waterfall screen" design and will maintain the presence of a 3.5mm audio jack. He is also brave enough to share a few sketches of the cellphone design to the public.
However, what is very interesting is 5G. Yesterday Li Xiang shared a screenshot of part of the home screen of Vivo NEX 3 and clearly saw two 5G icons in the upper left corner and upper right corner. Then again, this device will likely use the latest Qualcomm chipset, the Snapdragon 855+. So it is very natural to adopt 5G.
Unfortunately Li Xiang has not provided information when the exact date of Vivo NEX 3 will be launched, and other information related to specifications, features and estimated price tag.
