LG has just officially announced the company latest flagship device LG G3. Developed under the Simple is the Newsmart concept, LG G3 is a culmination of consumer research based on LG’s product development philosophy, Learning from You.
The LG G3 is made out of polycarbonate with metallic skin, It is scratch resistant and will keep the fingerprints away. Its measurements are 146.3 x 74.6 x 8.9 mm and weighs just 150 g. Sadly, the LG G3 isn't waterproof and it does not have self-healing back as the G Flex.
The G3 sports a 5.5 inch Quad HD (2,560 x 1,440 pixels) IPS display with 538 ppi. LG G3 boasts a screen ratio of 76.4% with thin bezels all around so the phone feels as comfortable in the hand as a smaller traditional smartphone.
Powering the device is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 SoC with 2.5 GHz quad-core CPU and Adreno 330 GPU. Interestingly, the 16 GB version G3 packs 2 GB of RAM while the 32 GB version packs 3 GB of RAM. Both versions are expandable via microSD card up to 128 GB. The LG G3 has the same rear-mounted volume controls and Power/Lock button which was first introduced in the LG G2. LG has redefined the rear keys for better experience. On top of them is the 13 MP camera with OIS+. Next to it is a dual-LED flash and laser auto focus, which is first smartphone to have it. The laser auto focus is able to focus an object in just 276 ms, which is the fastest in smartphone camera.
The company did not put a 5 MP front-facing camera on the G3 but a 2 MP shooter, and up the device is a 3,000 mAh removable battery and it supports optional wireless charging that comes with a different back panel. The device is running on Android 4.4.2 KitKat with LG latest G UI on top. The latest user interface has flatter look with redesigned icons and overall looking. The new user interface comes with a ton of features, and one of them is called Smart Notice.

The Knock Code and Knock On features are still present in the LG G3, all you need to do is just tap the screen without pressing any buttons.
The LG G3 will be available in Metallic Black, Shine Gold, Silk White, Moon Violet and Burgundy Red.
