HTC Desire 816 Dual Sim Hands-On

HTC played to its strengths with the two devices unveiled at the MWC – the Desire 816 phablet and Desire 610 smartphone. Both look hot and feature LTE connectivity and BoomSound speakers.

HTC Desire 816 has a big 5.5" inch 720p HD Display and is powered by Android Jellybean with Sense 5.5 and Blinkfeed. It also features similar Snapdragon 400 series quad core processor like Desire 610 but it is clocked higher at 1.6GHz compared to 1.2GHz on Desire 610. It also has 1.5GB RAM and 8GB internal storage with an external storage option by micro-sd card.

HTC Desire 816 features a good 13-megapixel camera along with led flash in back and 5-megapixel front facing camera which can take decent selfies. It features the regular connectivity options like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, GPS, A-GPS, Glonass, 3G, Dual SIM and comes in Red, Green, White and Black color.

The HTC Desire 610 is a smaller device, with a 4.7" qHD screen. The Desire 610 has an 8MP camera and is powered by a Snapdragon 400 chipset. It has a fairly large battery too, at 2,400mAh, which surprisingly has just a little less capacity than that of the phablet.
