Asus ZenFone 5 Hardware Spec

Like the most Android smartphones, Zenfone 5 is also a bar style phone with capacitive screen. The screen size is 5-inch. The screen resolution is 1280 x 720 pixels with 294 ppi. It is using Gorrila glass III which is tough with scratch. The primary camera on the back of the cellphone is 8 megapixels and the front facing camera is 2MP.

The Asus Zenfone 5 was priced at $149 comes with 5"inch IPS HD display equips 2GHz intel processor, Intel Atom Z2680 dual-core GPU coupled with 1GB of Ram 4GB of internal memory which can be expanded using the micro SD card, A 8MP camera with f/2.0 aperture and 2050 mAh non removable battery. The phone comes in five different colours red, black, white, blue and gold.

There are 3 capacitive buttons on the bottom, which is Return, Home and multi-function button from left to right. The touch of the capacitive buttons are not bad and it supports vibration when pressed.

You get a camera on the upper middle area. The LED light is placed just beneath the camera. The horizontal strip of speaker is placed on the bottom area. You should be able to get a nice sound from this speaker. The Intel logo is placed nicely just on top of the speaker with the Zenfone logo.

Areas we'd like to see improvements on:

• A larger battery would be more desirable to help prolong the battery life.
• In this era of 4G network, this phone does not allow you to use 4G.
