Facebook Can Identify Now Playing The Song



Facebook Increasingly more and more features designed for user convenience. Now, Facebook also added the audio and visual identification features that can recognize songs and TV shows. This feature can function through a microphone on the phone. Thanks to audio recognition technology that detects through a microphone, Facebook can recognize millions of song titles, album and singers and 160 TV programs. 

How it works, when the user starts writing status on Facebook Android or iOS apps, the "feeling" will appear complete with emoticons. In the "feeling" the user will be invited to activate "audio listeners". 


Then, Facebook will automatically detects a song or a TV program that is being played. If Facebook detects songs in the Facebook list, automatically the info about the song will immediately appear on the screen.

Later, other users can hear and see what is being played by other Facebook users. If they are interested, just click and automatically the songs will play. The user can select the desired music streaming service, Spotify either, Radio and Deezer. Facebook to make sure that the new features that rely on the microphone will not interfere with the privacy of its users. It will not record conversations or store user data without permission.
